BRIDGE Mental Health Services Cooperative is being developed as an early stage, democratic, worker owned enterprise focused on improving access to timely and affordable mental health care in Victoria.
BRIDGE is designed to help people understand their options before making a commitment. Counsellor information, cost, availability, and ways to connect are presented together.
Compare credentials, supervision status, price bands, languages, format, approach, and availability.
Browse counsellors and request a new client consultation without a doctor’s referral.
BRIDGE is working toward suitable counselling appointments being available within seven days.
Choose independently or use an optional questionnaire for suggestions. The final choice remains yours.
A new client consultation is not a counselling session. It is a free 20 minute phone or online conversation that allows the patient and counsellor to introduce themselves, discuss how the counsellor works, and determine whether the fit feels appropriate.
Compare counsellors, price bands, availability, language, format, and approach.
Choose a counsellor and book a free 20 minute new client consultation.
Create an account only after selecting an available consultation time.
Continue with that counsellor, meet someone else, or decide not to proceed.
Registered practitioners and students completing supervised clinical training can appear together, while their professional status remains easy to identify.
Identity, credentials, professional standing, insurance, and practice readiness will be checked before publication.
A prominent Supervised student label will explain training status and supervision.
BRIDGE supports informed choice and manages the service experience. It is not an emergency service and does not replace the professional responsibility of the counsellor providing care.
BRIDGE is being developed as a democratic, worker owned company. The public purpose remains straightforward: improve access to mental health care. Worker ownership is the internal structure intended to keep the people operating the service involved in its decisions.
BRIDGE plans to learn with the local community and hopes to approach educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and community services about responsible referral, training, and supervised placement opportunities.
These relationships are goals, not confirmed partnerships. BRIDGE will name organizations as partners only after a formal relationship exists.
BRIDGE is currently being developed by Pedro Sixel and Bernardo Vainer Roisenberg. Founder biographies and photography will be added as the project develops.
Patients, counsellors, instructors, and potential partners will be able to contact the founders here. The public email is being configured.
Tell BRIDGE about your professional status, provide the documents needed for verification, build the profile patients will see, and review everything before submission.
BRIDGE would now verify your information and documents before publishing anything. This prototype did not transmit or store your information.
